Wedding

Your wedding day will be one of the happiest days of your life, and I want to make sure that you have wonderful photographs to help you remember every moment of it. I prepare for every wedding by meeting with the bride and groom to find out exactly what you want from the photography, its your day and I want to ensure that the images are exactly what you want and capture the day in as much detail as possible.

I have packages to suit any budget and am very flexible in making sure you get exactly what you want so please get in touch to discuss how I can help capture all the love, excitement and happiness in images you’ll adore. As you’ll see below, you get a photo CD or DVD (or downloadable if you prefer) with every package, which includes all the images at full resolution so you are free to order prints, albums and canvases as you like, though I can help with this as well if you prefer.

FAQ: Frequent Asked Questions

How much of a deposit do you require?

Standard deposit for any booking is 30%. I never take two wedding bookings on the same day, so the deposit is a way for everyone to be sure you’ve secured your date.

When will my balance be due?

Invoice balances are usually due no later than 30 days prior to your ceremony date but you can pay any time before that if you wish.

When can i see my (secure) wedding gallery?

I always aim to get the images back to you within two weeks, though this may be slightly longer during peak wedding season.

I’m getting married out of the area, is that ok?

I’m more than happy to cover any wedding, having covered as far afield as the highlands of Scotland and even Cyprus. Any excess travel will be discussed and agreed at your pre-wedding consultation.

I have a few ideas of my own, is that ok?

Of course! Your wedding day should reflect your personality, if there are any ideas you have we can discuss them and I will try my best to integrate them into the shots.

Can you show me a complete wedding shoot?

Yes, during your no obligation wedding consultation you’ll have the option to see a full day’s coverage.

How far in advance can I book?

Completely up to you, I often receive wedding inquiries and bookings sometimes a few years in advance. There may be a price increase for very long term bookings but this will be discussed and arranged during your consultation.

What if you’re unwell on our wedding day?

I’ll take plenty of paracetamol and lemsip and I’ll be there on your wedding day! However, if I am unable to work due to a personal injury there I work together with a few other local photographers to provide emergency cover for each other, if necessary.

What happens if it rains?

It happens, don’t worry. Normally we can find a quick window in the weather where shots can be done, but if necessary most venues have somewhere suitable that shots can be done indoors if the weather doesn’t let up

Can my wedding guests take photographs?

Yes, no problem at all. The only thing I ask is that you don’t get distracted with other cameras being pointed at you, the professional photographs will always take precedence. I’ll generally take my shots then indicate for your guest to get theirs if they’d like.
